Set of 4 large original etchings on watermarked Vergé paper, including “The Departure”, “In Foreign Climes”, “The Return”, and “The Fatted Calf”.

From the second state printing of 400, according to Wentworth.

Some are signed or dated on the plate lower right.

Dimensions:
+ Size of the sheets: 49 x 62 cm / 19,8 x 24,4 in.

Condition: In fair condition, with some soft handling creases, some slight discoloration, several minor and notable stains, and some visible tears at the edges. Images clean otherwise, well-inked. We advise framing them.

The 4 etchings formed together the series “The Parable of the Prodigal Son”.
