Paris 1947 – Association française des artistes lithographes et des amis de la lithographie

Illustrated collective album in tribute to Paris.

Includes thirty-three lithographs, of which twenty are numbered and signed.

With the exception of four illustrators (Léandre, Neumont, Philibert, and Willette), who were deceased and whose older works were reused, the other plates—most of them signed—are accompanied by a poetic text, either old or modern, that they illustrate.

The title page, a numbered and signed lithograph by Richard Guino, reprises the cover illustration (Saint Genevieve and the Ship of Lutetia), with inverted colors.

A very rare and complete set.
