Description: An old dovecote, located at Juan-les-Pins on the Côte d’Azur, executed as a monochrome watercolour in black washes. The work is signed “Dulac (fils)” — Jean Dulac fils, who used the pen name “Aristide”, was a sculptor, painter and gallerist and the son of the Lyon painter-sculptor Jean Dulac (1902–1968); he wrote art criticism in Lyon from 1968 to 1992. Painted and inscribed by hand in the collector’s guest book.
