Issued from the “Camouflages” series, which began in 1962 by Alain Jacquet, displaying some contemporary scenes overlaid with some well-known Art masterpieces.

This composition portrays a modern interpretation of the 1863 famous oil painting “Déjeuner sur l’Herbe” by Édouard Manet. The original 1964 dyptich is the first artwork mechanically made by Alain Jacquet, which was later known as the genesis of Mechanical Art, or “Mec’Art”.
