A great notched form in browns, plum and ochre — part yoke, part dismembered frame — is pinned across the double page by slanting grey and black bars, the washes running and pooling within a drawn armature. The motif of the wrapped or dismantled object worked in series is central to Titus-Carmel’s graphic work. Published in the final, memorial issue of Derrière le Miroir.
