Original lithograph on white Vélin paper. Very scarce!

Signed on the plate upper right margin, with Toulouse-Lautrec’s monogram.

Printing before the letter, with only one letterpress inscription, “l’Oeuvre, administration : 23, rue Turgot”.

Dimensions:
+ Size of the sheet: 38 x 55 cm / 14,9 x 21,6 in.
+ Size of the image: 30 x 49 cm / 11,8 x 19,2 in.

Condition: In overall good condition, with some soft handling creases, some minor stains, some tiny tears, and some small visible folds. Two restored tears and one notable diagonal fold upper right edge. Some pieces of white tape on the back, NOT visible from the front. The Vélin paper is slightly yellowed. Image very clean otherwise; well-inked.

This printing before the letter was specially designed for the theater program of the play “Raphaël et Salomé” at Théâtre de l’Oeuvre, Paris.
