Provenance: Livre d’Or de Yves Guérin, 1963–2006
Yves Guérin directed the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, then the Casino de Dinard, and later associated himself with the exhibitions of the Espace Blanche de Castille at Poissy; between 1963 and 2006 he gathered in a single album some sixty original works drawn and dedicated to him by the artists he received.
Description: Trained at the Beaux-Arts of Reims and Paris, Jacus was made Painter of the Air and Space in 1986 and full member in 1992. He belongs to the group of official painters — of the Air and of the Navy — well represented throughout the album. A second work by him here, this Breton subject is not recorded in the manuscript index.
