Interlocking organic planes of pink, violet, olive and brown outlined in black descend towards a yellow band, two red flame-forms flickering at the lower edge. Gardy-Artigas, son of the ceramicist Josep Llorens Artigas and Miró’s collaborator in clay, carries the biomorphic vocabulary of the Miró circle into his own graphic work. Published in the final, memorial issue of Derrière le Miroir.
