Numbered XXVI/LXV on the bottom left corner.

Aside from the 125 copies on Arches paper, and from the edition of 15 artists’ proofs.

+ Size of the sheet: 63 x 81,5 cm / 24,8 x 32 in.
+ Size of the image: 56 x 76 cm / 22 x 29,9 in.

Condition: In excellent condition, may have some minor stains in the margins. Image very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors. Please note that the last picture is a simulation only, the artwork is NOT framed.

Issued from the 1978 portfolio “Cats” by Karel Appel, which included 17 original lithographs in color portraying felines, each hand-signed and numbered. We only sell this lithograph, NOT the complete portfolio.

This pattern was also used for the cover of the portfolio itself.
