This design was used for the 1965 portfolio “Chagall. Le Plafond de L’Opera de Paris”.

This Art book was published by André Sauret to celebrate the completion of the Paris Opera’s ceiling with Marc Chagall’s paintings in 1964. The portfolio displayed several trial proofs leading to the final designs.
