One of the most celebrated motifs in Utrillo’s oeuvre, Le Moulin de la Galette was printed using the refined procédé Jacomet — a hand-stencilling technique prized for its painterly fidelity — and issued as part of the deluxe publication Le Village Inspiré, Chronique de la Bohème de Montmartre, published by Jean Vertex. This copy belongs to the select issue of 170 on vélin de Rives, reserved for the Bibliophiles français, out of a total run of 490 copies.
