Plate from the portfolio Hommage à Arthur Köpcke, published in 1979 by Den Danske Radeerforening af 1853, Copenhagen, in memory of the Fluxus pioneer Arthur “Addi” Köpcke (1928–1977); copies are held by Harvard Art Museums, mumok Vienna and The Broad, Los Angeles. Nørgaard, Denmark’s leading sculptor and performance artist — creator of the Queen’s tapestries at Christiansborg and of the notorious Horse Sacrifice (1970) — emerged from the experimental milieu around Köpcke’s circle.
