Lithograph on wove paper, scarce COMPLET set in six assembled parts.

Signed on the plate lower left margin.

Dimensions: 34,3 x 915,7 cm / 13.5 x 360.5 in.

Condition: In overall very good condition with some soft holding creases soft stains and minor tears at edges. The image is very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors.

Only two other complete sets of these lithographs are known to exist.

This lithograph is a true “who’s who” of the celebrities of that era captured by the artist during the return from the horse races, a grand social gathering of the time. Sem’s artwork vividly portrays a snapshot of the prominent personalities and notable figures present at this bustling and fashionable event.
