Set of 2 plates, including 1 woodcut print & 1 lithograph cover on wove paper.

Tony Beltrand’s plate is issued from an edition of 110, out of 100 on vellum paper.

Both signed on the plate lower margin.

Dimensions (Tony Beltrand):

+ Size of the sheet: 29,5 x 22 cm / 11,6 x 8,6 in.

+ Size of the image: 18 x 15 cm / 7 x 5,9 in.

Dimensions (Henry Bellery-Desfontaines):

+ Size of the sheet: 30 x 22,5 cm / 11,8 x 8,8 in.

+ Size of the image: 22,5 x 16,5 cm / 8,8 x 6,4 in.

Condition: In overall good condition, with soft handling creases.

The lithograph cover is folded in two, including the front page and the back page of the issue, with the spine slightly damaged. Printed on the inside and on the back as published.

Some small tears in the margins and some light folds on the corners on Tony Beltrand’s plate. Images very clean otherwise.

Both created for « L’Image » issue, published by Tony Beltrand and edited by Floury Editeur, Paris.

Henry Bellery-Desfontaines’s plate is the cover of June 1897 issue, while Tony Beltrand’s plate was later included in September 1897 issue.
