Condition: Very good used condition, complete with all margins; bright, vivid colours; light handling folds, a few tiny marginal tears and minor staining / discolouration to the cover and spine; binding staples visible and fragile. Unframed.

The rarest of the Cocorico issues illustrated by Alphonse Mucha — the very scarce second-to-last issue of the magazine (n° 62), almost always missing from collections. Published in Paris by Paul Boutigny and printed by Louis Gesler, Cocorico (Dec. 1898 – May 1902) spread Art Nouveau illustration at an affordable price. The cover bears Mucha’s chromolithographed composition, signed in the plate; the issue also contains reproductions after drawings by Louis Anquetin, Jules Chéret and Jacques Villon.
