Yves Guérin directed the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, then the Casino de Dinard, and later associated himself with the exhibitions of the Espace Blanche de Castille at Poissy; between 1963 and 2006 he gathered in a single album some sixty original works drawn and dedicated to him by the artists he received.
Description: Drawn at Nice during the Palais de la Méditerranée years, when the collector received artists on the Riviera. A further inscription describes these as forthcoming sculptures, seen on the terrace of La Frégate that morning. Sculptors are rare in the album, which is dominated by painters.
