Published by the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts, Lausanne, with the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, Geneva, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, Fribourg, and the Kunstmuseum, St Gallen, in an edition of 200 numbered copies.

Ducimetière trained in Geneva and held his first solo exhibition at the Musée Rath in 1965. He took French nationality in 1994 and worked thereafter as John Aldus. This plate dates from the years in which he was moving from painting towards installation, photography and film.
