Published by the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts, Lausanne, with the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, Geneva, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, Fribourg, and the Kunstmuseum, St Gallen, in an edition of 200 numbered copies.

Candolfi trained as an architect in Geneva and taught for over thirty years at the city’s École des beaux-arts. A suite of nine plates by him is held by the Cabinet des arts graphiques of the Musées d’art et d’histoire, Geneva.
