Plate from the portfolio Hommage à Arthur Köpcke, published in 1979 by Den Danske Radeerforening af 1853, Copenhagen, in memory of the Fluxus pioneer Arthur « Addi » Köpcke (1928–1977); copies are held by Harvard Art Museums, mumok Vienna and The Broad, Los Angeles. Spoerri, inventor of the tableau-piège and founding figure of Eat Art and Nouveau Réalisme, a close friend of Köpcke since the Copenhagen years, contributes a characteristically paradoxical plate — refusing to participate, signed three times.
