Three riders in green coats move left to right along a grey lane with a pack of hounds, a dry stone wall behind them and a village with a church tower on the rise; a family of spectators stands at the right-hand gate, and ochre autumn trees frame the scene under a pale sky. The stippled foreground grass and the flat, outlined figures are characteristic of Haddelsey’s naïve manner, for which he took the Lugano Grand Prix in 1969. This is the final impression of the edition.
