Provenance: Livre d’Or de Yves Guérin, compiled 1963–1992 (single-owner provenance). One of the album’s latest sheets, from the collector’s early-1990s Poissy circle: it commemorates the artist’s exhibitions at the Espace Blanche de Castille in Poissy.

Description: A fresh, impressionist watercolour of a wooded riverbank — trees in dappled foliage of greens, yellows, blues and ochres, touched with orange and red — with small figures by the water, a fence and flowers, in a lively pointillist touch. Yolande Delcourt, born in Eu in 1940, was self-taught in watercolour before studying under the marine painters Michel King and Léon Gambier and under Philippe Lejeune at Étampes; landscape watercolour is her specialty, and she also teaches the medium. Signed, dated and dedicated by hand.
